I’m offering pedal steel repair and setups. If something is not pulling right or if you have tuning issues, you can bring your instrument to me for repair. I can repair nearly all brands and types of pedal steel guitar. I have worked on many all-pull models, including GFI, Sho-Bud, Mullen, Carter, MSA, Dekley, Fessenden, Excel, Sierra, Zum, BMI, etc. I have worked on cable-pull steels such as Fender, Gibson, Multi-Kord, etc. I have also worked on Emmons push-pulls, as well as pull-release student models. I can do small setup changes or full rebuilds of a copedent.
If you are interested in changing your tuning or just having your pedals and levers professionally adjusted, you are in the right place. I can set your instrument up so that it plays like a dream, with each pedal and lever requiring little effort to pull to the correct pitch.
