Hex Tuning Pegs (5pk)

Description

These are the hex tuning pegs that are attached to the pull rods at the changer side of an all-pull pedal steel guitar. The tuners are made of plastic and are not threaded. They self-thread as you turn them onto the threaded pull rod. This ensures the hex peg fits firmly on the rod. If your tuners are loose and turn freely with your fingers, then it is time to purchase new hex pegs so that your pedals and levers will stay in tune.

The tuners are 3/16″ in width across the flats of the hex shape. They can be driven with a 3/16″ hex socket drive or a pedal steel tuning wrench.

They are 1″ in length. If more length is needed, you can purchase 1/2″ spacers, sold separately. If you need less length, you can simply cut the hex pegs to your desired length.

The hex pegs come in 3 sizes based on the size of the pull rod in your instrument, Large (L), Medium (M) and Small (S).

Large fits 1/8″ (0.125″) Rods
Medium fits 7/64″ (0.109″) Rods
Small fits 3/32″ (0.094″) Rods
